Amsterdam Photo Transfer Gel (041) - 500 ml Amsterdam Photo Transfer Gel is specially developed to allow you to include laser-printed images in your artwork, collages, or craft projects. Transfer photos or text onto canvas, wood, or other porous surfaces to create unique, multi-dimensional pieces. Please Note: This product is designed to work only with images printed on a laser printer. It is not suitable for inkjet-printed images or photographs. How to Use Mirror Your Image: Remember to mirror your image (especially important with text!) before printing, as the transfer will reverse the image back to its original orientation.Apply the Gel: Apply an even layer of the Photo Transfer Gel either onto the printed side of your image or directly onto the surface you are transferring to.Place the Image: Place the paper with the printed side facing down onto your desired surface. Press down firmly and carefully rub away any air bubbles from between the image and the surface using a plastic scraper or your fingers.Let it Dry: Allow the work to dry for at least 24 hours to ensure the image transfers properly.Remove the Paper: Once the gel is completely dry, moisten the paper with a wet sponge or cloth. When the paper is soaked through, gently start rubbing the paper away using your fingertips or a cloth.Finish: Continue rubbing until all the paper is removed and only the transferred image remains. You can paint over the transferred image immediately with acrylic paints. Pro-Tip: For the best result, apply a layer of glossy acrylic varnish or medium over the dried, transferred image. This will eliminate any white film left from the paper and enhance the vibrancy of the image.
